The Story:
In the early 1900's Casa Blanca was a Jackson County community and a school near Koop Settlement and the Lavaca River. Now only a few old class photos, an enduring love of learning, and fond memories remain as time goes by.
The Blanc du Bois grape has its roots in Texas soil and thrives in the Gulf Coast climate found at Lavaca Bluffs Vineyards overlooking the Lavaca River in the wind and sun. A semi-sweet "house white" wine, Casa Blanca honors the rural school that nurtured its community for three decades.
