The Story:

Lavaca Bluffs Vineyard and Winery overlook the beautiful Lavaca River just south of where the Lavaca and Navidad rivers flow together.  Finding Lavaca Bay instead of the Mississippi in 1684, French explorer La Salle discovered the Princess River Valley and unfriendly Karankawas before founding Fort St. Louis in this historic Gulf Coast area.  The last of the expedition's four ships - La Belle - the beautiful - sank in Matagorda Bay and was recovered 310 years later.

This beautiful wine honors its French heritage and the spirit of adventure that brought the French to Texas.  It has been kissed with ripe peaches for smoothness.
