The Story:
Magnolia Beach is an unincorporated coastal community on Lavaca Bay between Port Lavaca and historic Indianola. Established in the late 1800's after the two hurricanes devastated the area, it was reportedly named for Magnolia trees that can grow here, not for the oil company that became Mobil and then Exxon. Laughing gulls and other seagulls share the shell beach habitat with residents and visitors. The tropical fruit added to this refreshing wine evokes the breezes and peaceful coastal atmosphere of this beach community.
